Who knew you could earn money by sitting in the Affiliate Summit East 2010 blogger lounge AND get free SWAG?
When someone gives me an attractive, comfy t-shirt I will actually put it on and WEAR it! I wish all companies understood how important fit, comfort and attractiveness are. Chef Patrick dropped by the blogger lounge this afternoon with a couple dozen t-shirts in hand, and next thing I saw was him handing out $50 bills to people wearing them. Who wouldn’t want to be in the running for cold hard cash???
Eric Schechter from Clickbooth stopped by with some fabulous new black t-shirts that are so incredibly soft I know I will wear mine often. Thanks Eric.
Are you ready to see the ‘oddest product’ from the show? It’s a very cool idea with lots of potential, but honestly, if it wasn’t the gag part of the gift I’d smack the gift giver with IT!
The “GeekDadsWeekly” set up their first Affiliate Summit Podcast in the blogger lounge this afternoon to interview various webcelebs, bloggers (me) and mega monster corporate Social Media peeps! It was a lot of fun listening to them chat.
The blogger lounge day approached closing with Missy Ward and Christa Watson showing off their jugs, thanks to Hill Farmstead Brewery.

The Inc. Lounge in the Time Hotel was the perfect venue with tons of seating area, decorated in red, white and black leather furniture. Crystal and I found a cow skin covered bench to park on, and ate decadent chocolate covered strawberries that exploded in our mouths, with juice and chocolate running down our chins. Yep – totally decadent!
I tried my very first ‘black and white’ cookie – and yes, it was delicious, as were all the desserts. This picture will give you a tiny idea of the thousand trays which were passed around by lovely servers.
Speaking of ‘thousands’, there were drinks flowing freely until midnight. Have you ever attended a party with complimentary drinks and actually decided you couldn’t force down another? No, me either. But seriously, the buy.at party was close to overload even for me!
Music, food, networking, wii, pool, dancing and the most incredibly soft buy.at pillows which were begging to be stolen. Charlie turned a blind eye as the girls stuffed pillows in their bags or hid them behind their back while sneaking out.
Thanks Amy, Charlie & Greg for an awesome party & the best birthday EVER!

In February I posted about Missy Ward and the Affiliate Marketers Give Back fundraising for the Avon Breast Cancer Walk
.
The amount of fundraising Missy does for such an important cause as breast cancer is inspiring to me (even though Missy doesn’t believe she’s an inspiration!) and I love to help and do as much as I am able to come up with creative ways to do my part. I wrote a post suggesting anyone planning to attend Affiliate Summit East 2010 New York use my link:
Use my affiliate link to BUY your Affiliate Summit, Inc. East 2010 ticket and I will donate 100 percent of each ticket sale commission to the AMGB walkers. It’s that simple! Let me know when you’ve bought your ticket, and I’ll make the donation in your name. AND, be sure to join the AMGB Facebook group.
YOU and I and Affiliate Marketers Give Back can make a difference.
I am absolutely thrilled to tell you, a number of passes were purchased through my site and as soon as I receive my commission check from Share A Sale, I will be forwarding $843.00 to Missy.
Affiliate Marketers are very caring people and I thank you all for supporting the Boobies
