I love telling people I’m not a good driver – it nearly ALWAYS guarantees me the passenger seat where I can text, blog, facebook, take pictures and generally have a great, relaxing ride! Besides that, it’s true – I drive because I must, not because I enjoy it.
Once in a while speed intrigues me though, and I dream of being a great race car driver with the adrenalin rush, the hot white flame retardent suit, the sexy black fast car, the hot pit crew changing my tires… but I usually roll over and go back to sleep knowing the world is safer with me on the sidelines.
When RevenueWire announced their 200 MPH Challenge and I was invited to enter, I knew I had to give it a shot at the top spot to drive a Ferarri at the Mohave Airstrip. I went ‘all in’ and zoomed to first place with tons of votes – thanks to my awesome friends who didn’t know I was a terrible driver 😉 As the month long contest progressed my steam escaped and I slowly lost my lead to other awesome bloggers, like Chad Hamzeh, 2nd Place, Ricky Ahuja, 3rd Place, Tanner Vaughn, 5th Place and Lorenzo Green, who was announced as the 1st Place RevenueWire 200 MPH Contest Winning Blogger. Congratulations to Mr Green!
I placed a very respectable 4th Place out of 20 bloggers participating in the challenge, and am happy to be there. I’ve always been best at “backup” and enjoy the reflected limelight.
Thanks RevenueWire for hosting this challenging contest. I enjoyed every minute and look forward to November when the Mr Green & two other affiliates put the pedal to the metal.
There are still two spots open to RevenueWire affiliates to enter the contest which runs until November. Want to take a crack at it? Sign up right now as a new affiliate to drive traffic and affiliate sales and you may be in the drivers seat of a $400,000.00 Ferrari breaking the 200 MPH Challenge!
