Being this close to the Manatees was amazing.  Prior to this I&#8217;d only see their backs as they swam in the Intracoastal Waterway, usually hanging around the pilings of the bridges.They are fascinating to watch even though they are rather ugly. Watch the ray of sunlight the camera picks up &#8211; to me, it looks like an alien space ship is focusing it&#8217;s beam of light right over the boat!

Crystal and Hugo drove to the Hyatt Hotel where the tender was to drop Kent and I after our boat was loaded.  They found a nice outdoor bar at Pier 66 where Hugo was welcome and received much attention.  It turned out they waited nearly 3 hours so it was just as well [...]]]></description>
