Blogger Lounge Recap & “John Chow Nearly Goes to Jail”

The Blogger Lounge at Affiliate Summit was a happening place this afternoon. A number of interviews took place, bloggers diligently blogged, and MicroSteph took on all the guys on Wii bowling – and whooped their butts!

I met so many new people in 6 hours it was difficult to remember names. Lucky for me, people are creatures of habit so most sat at the same desk every time they came in the lounge! Here’s a tip – when someone asks me for help, asks a question, references something, cracks a joke or comes back to talk twice I am much more likely to remember a name. Actually that was a good learning experiene for me! Of course, I might forget like when I saw Deborah, the ‘tea lady‘ Vinny & their daughter totally out of place (at the Mirage) two days after Affiliate Summit.

Note to self: ASk for business card when each press pass holder enters the blogger lounge!

John Chow was quite funny when he entered the lounge to write his post and edit his amazing, totally illegal, violating all the RIO Casino laws, potential jail term, banning forever from Las Vegas, video of Lyndon Reid playing Blackjack. He announced, loudly “John Chow is in the blogger lounge.” It was a perfect introduction, so I started announcing when others entered or left. People love to be recognized – did I already say that? LOL – it’s true!

The blogger lounge closed at 6 and I rushed off to prepare for an evening of fun – more to come later!
