Caring and Care for our Elderly Family Members

I am SO fortunate my 96 year old Pop requires very little care – but I also know the time will no doubt come when I can’t look after his every need. When that happens I will be looking for a
Free Senior Care Referral Service.
Pop’s knees are giving out and he is a little weaker every year, but he still gets around using his walker and his motorized scooter. Does this look like a 96 year old to you?

He knows I don’t want him climbing ladders, so he always consults me first to make sure I will be right there watching him and/or holding the ladder – LOL. As though that is going to help if he has one of his weak spells – but ‘whatever’. He’s made it this long and I’m not going to be the one to tell him he ‘can’t’.
Making the decision to get help for Pop will be difficult, but I’ll deal with it when the time comes. I know there is professional care available to help us both overcome this challenging time of life.

Lol!
