YouTube Viral Video

What makes a YouTube video go viral?

Imagination, usually in my opinion! Videoing something unusual or putting an odd twist on everyday events often captures my attention. If a video makes me curious, I’ll discuss it with others and try to find out what it means.

When I saw this Red Chair Confessions video, I immediately thought the girl was confessing to shoe shopping. For some reason many of us females seem to have a ‘thing’ about shoes – me included. She was well dressed, looking as though she was going shopping and certainly had a secret love affair with something going on in her life. Listen to her shoes on the marble floor of the church as she runs off to indulge herself in her secret.

BUT, was that it? Perhaps she discovered the guilty pleasure of Facebook Texas Hold ‘Em poker. Maybe she found a cool dating site online and couldn’t wait to get back to her computer to see who was messaging her.

The video left me wondering – so, I’m asking YOU! What’s it all about. Is it the beginning of an unusual ad campaign?

What is your guess? Will this video go viral? Is there enough intrigue to make people discuss the outcome or keep them guessing? Please let me know what you think – I’m very curious!
