Affiliate Summit 2009 Meet Market August 9 Recap

The ‘Meet Market’ was a roaring success yesterday. Merchants and Vendors met with Affiliates to discuss their programs, share information about their products and services while creating partnerships and cutting deals.

The room was packed all afternoon, busy and noisy as people met, bid in the Silent Auction (which benefits The Big Brothers and Big , picked up great Swag and took pictures. There was such a lovely warm atmosphere projected by people renewing acquaintances from previous networking conventions.

Twelve sessions took place with diverse information for new bloggers and experienced advertisers with information on international markets, personal branding, business websites, viral campaigns, the Advertising Tax impact, microniches, creating a noticeable online presence and more.

Once the Meet Market and the sessions closed for the day, it was party time! I know of at least 4 parties which were held last night, including the Affiliate Summit Tweetup which was a networking social event in a quiet atmosphere.
