Face to Face Networking – attend conventions, connect with local people through Tweetups – search on twitter by city name – because your family and friends won’t ‘get’ you! Use social networking to find groups.
Personal Branding by @JGoode – be consistent with your user names and avatars, logo, icon etc. Use your face or a specific logo. Be sure people you meet can find you easily if they are searching – continuity is very important.
