Jervis Inlet Sunrise

It’s not often I’m awake before the sun!

A few mornings ago Pop and I went Spring Salmon fishing at North East Point on Texada Island. We were up early enough to see the sun rise over the mountains behind us. Our friends Gus and Darlene were following in our wake.

Even though we didn’t catch any keepers we had a nice morning in the flat calm Strait of Georgia.

This is what fishing is all about to me – other than a Corona in hand would have made the day perfect!
