Anniversary Celebration

My cousin Jacquie and her husband Kenn celebrate their 30th Wedding Anniversary tomorrow but we partied on Saturday afternoon.

Don’t you love Jacquie’s headband with the palm trees? Her sister Kathy made the cute cake.

There were about 35 people at their home and the theme was Caribbean. The swimming pool was warmer than the air and it was covered by a huge tent to keep out the rain and the kids and a few of the adults swam.

The deck was also covered by a large tent which made a nice area to sit around a big propane heater watching the men barbecue!

Pop and I took prawns (too many I thought) and they were all gone in about an hour! We ate our fill of appetizers then had grilled hamburgers and hotdogs and salads. The Pina Coladas added a really nice touch to the theme!
