Warning – extremely graphic, disturbing pictures in this post.

These pictures were sent to me in an email. I do not know who this man is, but he’s one tough camper. He was sleeping in the tent when a polar bear attacked. He managed to fight it off, shoot it and survive. How, I don’t know… he’s lucky to be alive.

KINDA MAKES YA WANT TO STAY AT HOME AND HIDE UNDER THE BED, EH?

    Wow – that’s gross. I’m glad he’s okay, though.

I was attacked by a polar bear once – at the Indianapolis Zoo. When I was 5 years old I was at the polar bear exhibit. There was a very thick plexi-glass wall where you could stand right up close to the bears. Well, I was standing there and one of the bears charged at me and slammed up against the glass. I was horrified, lol. It’s funny, now, of course, though.
