Stem cell research is one of those hot topics on which nearly everyone wants to express their opinion. Me included, and I have to tell you I think it’s important for medical scientists to research various means of increasing quality of life and preventing and curing diseases using stem cell research.
Breast cancer strikes approximately 1 in 8 women in the US and if you or your family’s life hasn’t been affected by this disease, no doubt it will be eventually. I know mine has been impacted by breast cancer, and other life threatening diseases and it gives me hope to think future generations may benefit from stem cell research.
Are you visionary enough to take part in a simple program which utilizes menstrual fluid as a stem cell collection method?
Pre-trial clinical trials are on-going as the basis for medical treatment of serious diseases, using menstrual stem cells. As a woman, mother and grandmother, I totally support this brilliant concept of collecting, isolating and preserving menstrual blood, not only to possibly use in disease treatment, but also to potentially improve the quality of life. Imagine if additional therapeutic developments lead to the treatment of major diseases like Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s; as well as cosmeceutical applications such as wound-healing, anti-aging and providing the potential for living a longer, healthier, life.
