You don’t have to be a geek to be green.

Going green one step at a time is a simple way to lessen your environmental impact on the world.

As a power boater, I know how important it is to reduce our impact, such as reducing speed, not overusing the air conditioning, reducing trash and basically leaving nothing but our footprints wake behind.

There are many, many ways for you to get started going green in your life – so please think about doing it for our world and for your future generations.

The simplest first step is using a green web hosting site which uses alternative / renewable energy, plants trees, recycles waste and purchases RECs (Renewable Energy Credits) to power their datacenters. I love seeing the wind generators operating and if they are powering my reputable hosting company, I’m all for it.

The Web Hosting Geeks offer user reviews of many web hosting companies, including the Green, so you may compare prices, products and read other peoples opinions on a huge varieties of hosts – and you may just find some great deals while you are there!

It’s funny how everyone is going “GREEN” now, but think about ALL the resources needed to create that “GREEN” thing :)
