70′s Rock Band ‘PRiSM’ in White Rock

Kent, Crystal, Nicole, Riley and I went to the Star of the Sea hall in White Rock Saturday night for a rock concert by PRiSM. Actually, I don’t remember them from the 70′s but they were awesome last night!

I have tons of pictures on Facebook (where you’ll have to ask to be my friend) and video to share. The band really rocked White Rock and the Crescent Beach Coast Guard Auxilliary was the big winner. The evening was an annual fundraiser for the Auxilliary and judging by the number of people in attendance, should have done very well.

We arrived at the hall a little after 8 to be sure we got ‘our’ favourite table which is near the door and the bar, so we see everyone coming in. Sitting near the bar and picking up the drink tickets the drunks drop as they’re buying their beer is like getting instant credit cards“>instant credit cards! Just kidding – I only picked up 3 tickets… We know tons of the people who attend through boating and living in the area so many years, so it’s always fun.

A DJ played music for 2 hours and people danced and talked, then PRiSM was introduced and played for about 3 hours with a short break. What a show – as you will see!

Sounds like a great way to spend an evening out, have fun and support the good cause! On all the photos I see nothing but happy faces… :)
