Which Dress Will Kaia Choose?

A new dress for the Birthday/Christmas Season has always been one of my shopping pleasures for my Granddaughter – well, for 6 years now anyway! Kaia will turn 6 on November 25.

Crystal and I stopped at Wal-Mart before going to play Texas Hold ‘Em Tuesday night and I just happened to be walking past the children’s wear and saw the new dress selection.

I totally forgot about looking for the original item I wanted and spent all my time sorting through the various little velvet, glittery dresses looking for size sixes. Of course I couldn’t make up my mind so took three of them to where Crystal was to ask her opinion. She’s very good at choosing clothing for her niece and she loved the purple. What a surprise – but I loved the brown, so I had to buy both. I can’t wait to see if Kaia likes them! Which one will she like best do you think???

We have tickets to ‘A Highschool Musical’ Disney On Ice skating show and tickets to Beauty and the Beast – both in November – so 2 new dresses are appropriate for these occasions in my opinion….

I’ve considered personalized books as well for Kaia for her birthday in late November because I think she’s old enough now to appreciate them – and soon she will be able to read them too!

Just before her big day, I will have her come over to spend an evening making a cake – her own birthday cake. She loves baking and I enjoy taking the time to do it with her. Pictures to come! Wait til you see the adorable Tinkerbell card, plates and napkins I found – to go with the new DVD
