Personalized Geeky Gift

Kent cringes when I say, “I have a GREAT idea”, and with good reason – my ideas usually include spending money!
I’ve just come up with the greatest idea for a personalized gift – and yes, it is going to cost money – but not a great deal. This brilliant idea for a geeky gift for birthdays, Corporate giveaways, Christmas and even as a baby gift is top of my list this year.
Actually, I didn’t come up with the idea, but I’m certainly endorsing it as a cool gadget gift as I received one of these
Personalized Flash Drives from IZEA when I attended IZEAFest in Orlando – and put it to immediate use.
The drive may be personalized with your website, blog name, corporate name or the recipients name. The prices range from $9.99 for a 512MB to $69.99 for a 16GB, with free lazer engraving. Shipping is $4.65 for the first one ordered and only 20 cents more per additional drive. What a cool – very useful – gift!

I like the idea of ordering a 4 GB flash drive personalized with a new born baby’s name to give as a baby gift. It would be easy storage for ‘Dad’s Brag Book” of baby pictures at $24.99 plus a low shipping cost of $4.65, the price is certainly right.
Your child would be teachers favourite if he/she gave this as a gift – engraved with #1 Teacher, name, year and school name.
There are so many cool ways you could use this as a marketing tool. I don’t have a big advertising budget, but for a big money blogger like John Chow, a few of these would have been a huge hit last night at Ideas on Tap!
