Crystal, Hugo and I ran a few errands yesterday. The pet store was the first stop and we bought a new type of food for Hugo which is supposed to get his little digestive tract back on track. He was on food from the vet, but it’s VERY expensive and he seemed to be losing weight although it did seem to agree with his system. We hope this new diet will be substantial enough to keep him healthy. I gave him a few little bites in the car, just to see if he liked it. Well, he loved it, wanted more and just hammed it up for the camera!

So, my new Ford Edge is a great Costco expedition car, we discovered, as it has a hatchback door which opens with the button on the clicker – and closes. The cargo area is large enough to hold everything – and I mean everything. I should never leave home as I impulse buy like crazy. The only problem I’ve found with the car is I can see the gas gauge going down when freeway driving – seriously – and of course, we don’t have cheap auto insurance here in BC so it’s not a inexpensive vehicle to operate. But, than again – I don’t do a lot of driving!
Hugo has a new ‘blankie’ to keep him cozy in the backseat, we have the WII fishing game and a pumpkin pie big enough for 12 hungry people.
