Lunch With John Chow

IZEAFest and Orlando are a long way from boating in Beautiful British Columbia and I was asked time and again what my reason was for going to Orlando? My answer of course, was ‘to attend a blogging convention’, but then that always brought up the question, “What is blogging?”.

Blogging, networking and the internet consume so much of my life, I find it difficult to believe so many people don’t know what blogging is all about. Even Kent was amazed to learn of the ‘big money bloggers’, like John Chow from Richmond, who spoke at the convention. The title of one of his posts on his blog reads, “I make money online by telling people how much money I make online” – and he was serious. I’m not going to tell you how much money he makes by blogging, because you probably wouldn’t believe me. You’ll have to go read John’s blog to find out!

I met up again with John and his wife in Las Vegas at BWE08 (another blogging convention) and chatted for a few minutes. He gave me one of his tee shirts and I gave him one of my key chains, then he invited me to attend a Saturday networking luncheon in Richmond – cool huh? You can bet I’ll blog about it when I go!
