I don’t normally play Blackjack when I’m in Las Vegas, but my friend was sitting alone at the $5.00 table so I joined him. Kent came over to watch. Now, I don’t know all the rules about when to split pairs and when to stay and how to not ruin the flow of cards at the table, blah, blah, blah…. so I was just having fun.

On the third hand I was dealt an ace – nice. Second card was an ace – so I knew to split them. Oops third card was an ace – split again – and fourth card – is it possible – another ace??? Split again – I had a really, really good chance of winning – like four chances of winning to the dealers one, right?
Fifth card was a seven and – yup, you guessed it – 6th card was another ace (not that it was a ‘good’ card to get at that time… but…. it amazed me. I had to ask the pit boss if he’d ever seen that happen. Oh, sure – we’re using 6 decks of cards so it happens more often than you might think. Ya, right – like I believe you mister…. 5 aces out of 6 cards – that can’t be usual. I’m one lucky girl and you know it!
Anyway, I asked the dealer if I could take a photo after the pit boss walked away, because I knew no one would believe me!
OH, did I win? Absolutely – the dealer went BUST!!!
