I know it’s nearly power boating season in British Columbia when the tulip trees and ornamental cherry trees start blooming! We’ve had some dry weather, with WARM sunshine over the last week. Hugo and I were out for a walk a few days ago admiring the neighbours gardens and blossoms.
Look how the sunlight was backlighting the flowers of this Hellebore, making it’s green and white petals translucent.Hellebores produce such lovely flowers but I’ve never grown them!

Beware of such magical beauty – some species such as the Black or White Hellebore can be deadly, and the plant is the subject of many legends involving sickness, death, witchcraft, madness and medicine!

Just so beautiful. It was nice here today but everything is really behind. We usually have lots of things blooming. (You can see our Boston on my The Pond. She was getting into my oyter aware video. LOL)
