Seattle Boat Show

The Seattle Boat Show is on until February 2. Buy your tickets online and you will receive free parking, a cup of clam chowder and a boat related magazine subscription! Of course I discoverd this little promo after Kent left this morning… He and a friend are heading to Seattle to enjoy a day of talking boat and drooling!

A neighbour suggested Kent might ‘go overboard’ if I wasn’t going with him. I could only say, “I hope so!” I don’t mean ‘in the water, overboard’ and neither did he – but anything he might buy boat related is good in my opinion

Boat shows are a great source of interesting, space saving inventions, new products and ideas. We spend 5 months a year living aboard and I like all the comforts of home to be available… Go ahead Kent, shop!

I enjoy wandering around looking at the booths, but there is snow on the ground today and it’s a 2 1/2 hour drive to Seattle, so I chose to stay home today, with Pop. His electric scooter doesn’t have good traction for the snowy conditions and neither do his feet! He and I will enjoy a lazy day at home and eat chicken pot pies for dinner!
