Happy For No Reason

It’s hard to imagine complete peace within myself and only positive thoughts! I thought it was a way of life to think negative thoughts… I’m sure someone must have told me in some way I wasn’t perfect, or perhaps I absorbed the feeling through someone’s criticism or even comments or conversation.

It seems to me TV, magazines, the internet and conversations quite often suggest improving ourselves because we need to be more like the stars, the models, the rich or the thin. It’s difficult to overcome negativity when you are bombarded with the idea that everyone else’s grass is greener!

What to do to let go of those negative thoughts I’ve carried around for years?

The Sedona Method teaches people to be Happy For No Reason. That sounds good to me. I’d like to be happy all the time, even if I don’t have a reason!
