I’m writing my Christmas List!

Back in the dinosaur days, when I was a kid, our beach was covered in large boulders which provided the perfect spot to stretch out to suntan or have a group sit, with our feet dangling in the water of the rising tide. Over the years, Pop moved the boulders with the backhoe, into position to create a rock wall and even put a few up on the pathway as seating.

I’ve always loved rocks (just ask Kent – I ‘collect’ them everywhere we go!) and admire every large boulder I see in my travels. Often they are used as ‘address’ or ’sign’ holders and make such a statement. I know the work involved to move 1000 pound boulders – you need a heavy duty machine and a lot of patience! Not everyone has that luxury or ability.

Artificial Rocks Factory creates the most realistic fake boulders I’ve ever seen. Some are perfect for displaying address plaques in front of your home or business and there are many different shapes and rock ‘material’ from which to choose.

I live in a townhome and the street lighting is not the best, so the pizza delivery person goes to the wrong door – every time! A huge address boulder would solve that problem. I have the perfect spot just outside the gate and I’d be able to admire it from my kitchen – every day. My biggest problem would be deciding which one to order…

Wouldn’t a huge address rock make a great Christmas gift? I love unusual gifts and it would certainly get lots of attention – under the tree and in my entryway! The rocks weigh a fraction of a real one (50 – 60 pounds), but look so realistic, your friends will be amazed when you tell them they are artificial. An anti-theft metal eyebolt is cast inside every address or welcome boulder so it won’t ‘walk’ away when you’re not looking!

Okay, an artificial address rock is going at the top of my Christmas list. Perhaps Santa will think it’s a great idea!
