Didn’t Google lay the smack down?
So many blogs lost page rank in the latest update – me included. That hurts, a lot. I’ve worked hard to improve my page rank on 2 of my blogs and they were looking good for a few months. I was quite proud of my achievement and was earning increasing amounts of money by doing what I enjoy most – writing! Imagine – ME, earning money blogging. Most people are amazed when I tell them I do earn money as they can’t understand how it’s possible. Well, they aren’t bloggers so they haven’t figured it out yet 
This blog has no page rank yet, so at least Google couldn’t make it lower… although, they perhaps made it longer until I will have PR. Well, I’ll just keep on keeping on, and work smarter not harder! Networking is the key, I understand from various articles – and I can certainly do that! Okay, I’m off to visit some fellow bloggers. See you later.
Even my friend lost his blog’s PageRank..He had a PR of 3 but Google’s update caused it to drop to 1..! My,was he agitated..i wonder what made Google reduce PR?

ReplyA *lot* of people lost PR in the last update, but as has been pointed out, it’s mainly toolbar PR. The ‘real’ rank of our sites fluctuates every day for various reasons. Best, as you said, to keep working – smarter and harder.
