New Arrival Date for PAC Athena

Kent received email news the PAC Athena is to arrive Thursday and we will offload the boat Friday.

As some of you may have seen on the local news, Friday is cruise ship arrival day in Victoria Harbour and it is terribly crowded – with ships and people. That’s good for Victoria, but bad for us.

The PAC Athena has been re-routed to Nanaimo to off-load. Of course, this makes our travel plans just a little more difficult – but what else is new? We’ll catch a ride with Gerry perhaps as he is going that way on Thursday or if all else fails we’ll ask Crystal to drive us and all our ’stuff’ to the ferry at Horseshoe Bay and we’ll catch a bus or a cab in Nanaimo to a hotel for the night.

Kent is hoping our boat will one of the first to be unloaded and you can bet we’ll be there bright and early Friday morning!
