We’re confirmed to load tomorrow on the PAC Athena at 1500!
And, we are all ready – the supplies on the boat are packed away, our bags are packed and after we put away a few last minute items, defrost the fridge, freezer and icemaker we’ll be ready to load.
We spent most of the day here on the boat but went out to the FedEx office to send off a parcel and to find where the tender would take us once the boat was in the sling and being loaded on the freighter. We’re booked at a hotel close to the airport and will be ready and eager to head home Wednesday morning.
See ya later, Alligator!

Oh my god! You’re actually coming back!!! I was beginning to lose hope.
Yeay happy day. Snoopy Dance in my living room

I can’t believe your actually almost done with your trip!!
It’s probably a good thing you didn’t take me after all… I’m not allowed to be away for that long.
ReplyWishing you all a safe trip back home =)
ReplySafe journey home!!
ReplyOh, it’s so sad that the trip is over… sniffle. Thank you so much for taking me (and everyone) along with you. It’s the best (and only) cyber boat trip I’ve ever been on!!
Did you take photos of them loading the boat onto the freighter? I hope to see some of that.
Hope you enjoy your trip home. How long will it take for the freighter to arrive in Victoria and off load your boat? I expect we’ll see photos of the trip from Victoria back to the mainland… looking forward to it.
See you soon.
ReplyHi Heather -

I have enjoyed your blog – you are very good at describing the sights sounds etc. makes one feel as if they were right there with you.
Thanks for sharing this “trip of a lifetime” with us all!
